Q6
Is equality a core value in your life?
  • Yes
Q7
If yes to the question above, what action steps do you take or have you taken to ensure equality in the U.S. and why?

Depends on definition of equality. Treat others as fellow human beings no matter ethnicity…no better and no worse than me. Not taking offense easily. Not assuming racism from others unless it’s obvious. This is important from both sides or we come onto relationships with chips on our shoulders and expectations that may not be accurate.

Q8
What barriers exist in your life to increasing your involvement?

Geographical distance…emotionally hypersensitivity on social media…being put in the position of being guilty by definition of my ethnicity.

Q9
What role do you think the government should play in race relations?

Lead by example

Q10
When you hear black lives matter, what does that mean to you?

Domestic terrorism
