What do you feel is holding us back from reaching your ideal America?

Racism, misogyny, and generally people’s angst and fears that make them look down and judge others.

Is equality a core value in your life?

If yes to the question above, what action steps do you take or have you taken to ensure equality in the U.S. and why?

Speaking up! Standing up! Showing up! Walking, protesting, donating to the ACLU, and to planned parenthood and to the Equal Righta Commision. Raising white males who “get it” and checking my white privilege.

What barriers exist in your life to increasing your involvement?

Limited time and capital.

What role do you think the government should play in race relations?

The government should be leading the way in leadership, legislation, and regulation.

When you hear black lives matter, what does that mean to you?

It means that law enforcement must treat people of color like they treat causasions. People of color are human beings!!
