I have made it a goal of mines to be intentional about working to bring different types of people together and spark conversation regarding inequality to bring consciousness to the people in my life

What barriers exist in your life to increasing your involvement?

I do not have a plarform to reach many people regarding pressing issues.

What role do you think the government should play in race relations?

The government should try to diversify its systems. There also needs to be more marketing set around promoting diversity such as diversity awareness, etc.

When you hear black lives matter, what does that mean to you?

To me black lives matter mean that although it is understood that other races are important, it seems that black lives are being pushed aside as unimportant due to the way that blacks are treated.

Growth is painful. Change is painful. But, nothing is as painful as staying stuck where you do not belong.
