People have an opportunity to pursue, life, liberty and happiness without restriction

What do you feel is holding us back from reaching your ideal America?

Lack of realization that bias exists in all forms of human interaction. What is needed is an understanding that this bias colors our perception and a willingness to reach compromise so that everyone can achieve their life goals

Is equality a core value in your life?

If yes to the question above, what action steps do you take or have you taken to ensure equality in the U.S. and why?

I’ve supported those candidates and individuals for elected office who espoused a clear reasoning of success for all rather than a bias to improve or degrade one group’s status

What barriers exist in your life to increasing your involvement?

Feeling overwhelmed by the sheer antagonism of people to each other today. Much easier to retreat to your own cocoon.

What role do you think the government should play in race relations?

Government must insure that all institutions create an equal opportunity for its citizens to have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness

When you hear black lives matter, what does that mean to you?

It is dumb. All lives matter!
